PRO. SHIFER

Field of application: for reinforcement of various porous, weak mineral surfaces, best suited for priming slate roof coverings, concrete and clay tiles before painting with water-dispersion paint PRO.ŠIFER. For interior and exterior works.

Features: deeply absorbed, reduces water absorption, "binds" dust well, has a weak, specific smell.

Surface preparation: the surface must be clean, strong and dry. Remove adhesion-reducing substances such as dust, old peeling paint, lichens, moss from the surface mechanically or with a high-pressure water jet.

Working conditions: surface and ambient temperature during work and drying must be at least +5°C; optimum conditions are at +20°C and 65% RH. Use: mix the primer well before use, apply an even layer of primer with a brush, rubbing it well on the surface. Highly moisture absorbing surface prime in 2 layers. Second layer apply only when the first one is completely dry.

Consumption: 50 - 200 ml/m² depends on the surface absorption.

Drying time: at +20°C temperature and 65% relative air humidity: ~ 1 – 3 hours.

Cleaning of tools: wash the tools with water immediately after use.

Storage and carriage conditions: at least + 5ºC and not higher than +30°C in a tightly closed container. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing! 

Environmental and work safety: do not pour into drains, water reservoirs or soil. Avoid breathing vapor/aerosol. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. If swallowed, immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Keep away from children.

Volatile organic compounds: 1.1.8h) VOC limit value 30g/l. The maximum in ready to use product 29,95g/l.
